ACTIVECLO2 is highly versatile and can be effectively used in turkey, broiler, layer, and breeder facilities at any stage of poultry production. Improving water quality with ACTIVECLO2 is a critical factor in reducing input costs on the farm. A small reduction of 0.01 point in feed conversion can make the water treatment with ACTIVECLO2 pay for itself up to 3 times.

Successful livestock production relies heavily on exceptional management skills that significantly impact technical results. Factors such as health status, barn temperature, ventilation, water quality, and nutrition all play a crucial role in maximizing the animal’s genetic potential and the bottom line.

In commercial broiler and turkey production, the use of ACTIVECLO2 has consistently shown several benefits, including lower mortality rates, more uniform flocks, reduced condemnations, lower medication costs, improved feed conversion, consistent weights, and better return on investment.

ACTIVECLO2 effectively eliminates microorganisms, including bacteria, protozoans, algae, and fungi. When bacteria are exposed to chlorine dioxide, their cell walls are penetrated. Organic substances within cells and on the surface of cell membranes react with chlorine dioxide, disrupting cell metabolism. Chlorine dioxide also reacts directly with amino acids and RNA in the cell, killing microorganisms regardless of their activity. It's important to note that bacteria are often found in water and on surfaces in the form of a “biofilm,” which is a close association of many millions of bacteria.
